The Casino Never Opened

The WORLD TRADE CENTER was located at 901 Desert Inn Road.
This 225 room casino was build by Leonard Shoden at the cost of $25,000,000.00 during the mid 1990s. Mr Shoden was the founder of U-haul Rental Company and was always his dream to own a casino.
Now lets go back a few years. The casino was built, the hotel was open with guests and the restaurants were serving food.
The gaming license was applied for and approved. They were days away from opening. The casino was filled with table games, blackjack, roulette and craps. Slots lined the walls. Employees were hired and approved by the control board. Then, with a few days to go, Mr Shoden was found dead! He had just left the casino and was on his way home. Still to this day the mystery is Unsolved.
